Christopher Haas
is a San Francisco based architect and founder of HAAS Architecture. Since its establishment in 2009, the studio has completed several notable, award-winning projects, including "Triangle of the Squinches" - a collaborative ballet with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, the ZERO1 2012 Biennial Exhibition space, the Fraenkel Gallery Annex, the 3990 Folsom Street residence, and the INFINITI Tree installation, commissioned by INFINITI and Cirque du Soleil.
In 2009, he received the Artist Collaboration Award from the Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation & the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, to collaborate with visionary ballet choreographer, Alonzo King of LINES Ballet and legendary Grammy-award winning musician Mickey Hart to create a new ballet exploring the intersections of architecture and movement. The resultant work, “Triangle of the Squinches”, earned him the prestigious Isadora Duncan Dance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Visual Content, dance’s highest honor and the first architect to ever win the award, as well as the American Institute of Architects’ 2012 Excellence in Architecture Award.
His work has been published in DWELL, San Francisco Chronicle, The Architect’s Newspaper, C Magazine and featured on NBC, CBS & ABC news. He was one of twelve emergent international architects featured in the 2011 exhibition WHO NEW, sponsored by the University of Sydney.
In addition to his professional practice, he teaches architectural design studios at the University of California at Berkeley and at the California College of the Arts, where he is an Adjunct Professor. His coursework, created for a graduate design studio at the California College of the Arts, was awarded the 2006 NCARB Prize for Creative Integration of Practice & Education in the Academy, the nation’s second highest award for an academic course in architecture.
Prior to establishing his own practice, Christopher was a former collaborator with world-renown Swiss architects Herzog &de Meuron, where he served as a project architect and project manager, overseeing the design and construction of several of their most ambitious projects including San Francisco’s MH deYoung Museum and 11 11 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.
Chris completed his graduate thesis work at the renowned Staedelschule in Frankfurt, Germany under the direction of Spanish architect Enric Miralles. He holds a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois and spent a year at the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles, France.
Kurt Fischer
brings over a decade of experience working in both New York City and San Francisco. He served as a Project Architect on the John & Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park (Des Moines, Iowa) as well as the Museum of the Moving Image (Astoria, New York). His past collaborations include Agrest & Gandelsonas Architects, Leeser Architecture, and furniture designer - Nick Dine (son of pop-artist, Jim Dine).
He is interested in the pursuit of emerging computational and fabrication technologies in design and their role in the better development of sustainable building systems.

Christina Flores
is not only a champion collegiate volleyball player, but someone who brings the confidence, focus and tenacity of the court to the design studio. Her astonishing triple major at UC Berkeley gives her an invaluable skill set in both design and urban planning. Now we just need a project in Portugal.....

Clark Titcomb
has an insatiable passion for sustainable design, the focus of both his graduate and undergraduate studies. He worked as an Assistant Specialist in the Department of Architecture at UC Berkeley and in the Charlotte office of Perkins + Will.
In addition to architecture, Clark’s interests include art, music, and graphic design. He is an avid drawer, painter, musician, and collage maker. He has a great passion for traveling as well as humanitarian design efforts, both of which have given him greater insight into one’s place within the world.

Andrei Hakhovich
is a designer that combines rigor of innovative design and advanced digital fabrication skills. His design agendas and research interests lay in spatial constructs that have an impact on the users, built with the senatorial, public and ecological environmental as a focus. Andrei was born in Minks, Belarus and has dual educational background in both architecture and engineering. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from Belarusian National Technic University and MArch degree from California College of the Arts, where he was recipient of Mel Ferris Dean’s Choice Award for excellence in design.
Olya Piskun
is a young dynamic designer whose lifelong passion for cutting-edge aesthetics brought her to San Francisco. She is a recent graduate from the California College of the Arts with a M.A. in Architecture. During the Thesis Program she was especially interested in notions of time and movement in architecture, and she has had substantial experience in exploring these concepts through digital fabricating in multiple scales. Before joining the world of Architecture, Olya worked in the field of 3d visualization in a highly creative team environment for two years on dozens of international projects.
Ronan O'Boyle
described himself as such in his CV received from Dublin:
"I was born as Paul, but raised as Ronan. Blessed to have sisters from other misters, as well as brothers from another mother. Keen to learn, explore and travel. I like beautiful things in all their forms. I am working hard at trying to invent a job for myself. That is David Duchovny."
he was hired immediately.
Sarah Estephan
brings so many talents to the studio that it is hard to know where to begin. Sarah comes to us via the California College of the Arts graduate program in architecture. She has worked for many notable architects, included her own parents and most recently the prominent firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, where she worked on Apple Flagships stores, hospitality and high-end residential projects.
